bits that cover bits

Hello again and look at this I’ve managed to string 2 together than deserves a drink surely.

No I’m not on the wagon again and irritable for it, why do you ask??

Anyway here again with another post from memories of a club photographer 1990 to 2020 or cp9020 possibly?

Nah.

This one is slightly different though as when I set this up as a vehicle for my club/fash/slsh work I wanted part of the sbh remit to create new art stuff from the stuff I see in pop culture, club culture and the slightly grubby side of life.

For example I have a set of images that could be called: Discarded pregnancy kits, under the wear and sex journeys!

Anyone like that title?

I digress, so with this in mind what I’ve really noticed recently (thank to Queen Britney) is the covering of gethe bits (mainly nips) with all sorts of emojis, paintbrush strokes and assorted things, which got me thinking about what happens if you zoomed in on just those and put them together in some way? That’s what I did as a grid to start with, much like a contact sheet...here is that rough attempt to put something together and see what it looks like and share..

I will put this disclaimer in here as I’ve never been a fan of using found imagery, slightly old school in that respect but thought I’d try it as an experiment.

I’m repurposing imagery but combining and taking it somewhere different so think I’m doing it right?

As ever let me know any thoughts, drinks or comments in the usual spaces..
